A message from Ben Cohen
Producer / Director / Editor
Founder of Cinevector.
My career in video began more than 15 years ago in Minneapolis, where I worked as an editor and director with creative advertising agencies, independent filmmakers and local musicians. In 2011 I moved to New York and founded the video production department at BAM. Within the historic walls of America's oldest performing arts center, I had the honor to oversee a creative team of producers and editors to leverage BAM's archive and develop video content for branding, live streaming and more. In 2016 I began working as the Head of Post Production at Oscilloscope Laboratories, a celebrated independent film distribution company. I created dozens of trailers and campaigns to bring award-winning films to new audiences theatrically and digitally.
I founded Cinevector in 2019 with the idea that I wanted to pursue new work at the intersection of storytelling and technology. That includes digital cinema, live-streaming, animation and more. I'm always looking for new collaborators (some people call them clients) and I hope you will get in touch because I'm always ready to help develop your concept into a tangible idea.
